New Zealand Women's Summit, 1988

During her tenure with the Sisterhood Is Global Institute (SIGI), Mahnaz Afkhami participated in numerous global conferences. One such conference was the 1988 New Zealand Women's Summit where she spoke on a panel with New Zealand former member of parliment Marilyn Waring and Filipina senator Nikki Coseteng.
