Amneh Badran, Director of the Jerusalem Center for Women, speaks about conditions faced by Palestinian women.
Sakeena Yacoobi, founder and head of the Afghan Institute of Learning (AIL), speaks about conditions faced by women in Afghanistan.
Zainab Bangura, Sierra Leonian women's rights activist, talks about conditions faced by women caught in the midst of civil war in Sierra Leone.
Clash or Consensus? Gender and Human Security in a Globalized World was a conference convened by Women's Learning Partnership (WLP) and sponsored by the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at John Hopkins University to discuss improving human security through improving human rights in the Global South.
