Mahnaz Afkhami’s childhood home in Kerman, Iran. Mahnaz spent the first eleven years of her life here before moving to Tehran when her parents divorced. In Tehran, Mahnaz lived with her grandmother, brother, and sister. After spending one year in Tehran, Mahnaz moved to the United States to live with her mother who was attending the University of San Francisco.
