In honor of International Human Rights Day, WLP screened the documentary "Equality: It’s All in the Family" on December 10, 2020. In order for women and girls to exercise their full human rights within the home and in society, we must reform the discriminatory laws that reinforce the unequal status of women in the family, community, and beyond. "Equality: It's All in the Family" examines the root causes of discriminatory laws and highlights the pathways feminist activists are taking toward legal reform. The film screening is followed by a panel of four experts in family law and feminist advocacy to discuss effective strategies for change.
